The Globall L.A.B. Project

Globall Life is committed to providing professional and student athletes the much-needed support to find their career path after retirement, by partnering with companies in creating a taylored apprenticeship program: the Globall L.A.B. (Life After Ball) Project.

The L.A.B project offers design thinking workshops aimed at helping student athletes prepare for life after ball. We will guide the athletes through a creative problem-solving process to explore and develop potential career paths, skills, and strategies for a successful transition.

The added value comes from lived experience and relatability: our workshop facilitators are retired professional athletes who successfully transitioned into their next stage of life outside of sports.

With Agile methodologies and design thinking experience, our facilitator will create an engaging and provocative experience for the athletes.

The L.A.B. Project aims to building partnerships with businesses and corporations interested in providing opportunities to up-skill and provide workforce development for athletes transitioning to life after sport.

Our goal is to co-create an apprenticeship program as an alternate on-ramp into a role that normally requires a specific degree or experience. With this program we want to provide retired professional athletes with an in-house professional skills development program to bridge the gap and ease the transition into Life After Ball.

Is your business looking to grow their talent pool? Are you interested in implementing the L.A.B. Project apprenticeship?

Corporate Workshops
Sticky Notes

The L.A.B. Project provides corporate workshop aimed at helping identifying and closing gaps, in within those organizations that are currently employing former athletes in position that would require specific skill sets.

Our approach is to not only focus on the feedback and outcome from conversations with athletes, but also hearing the voices of those tasked with the mentoring/management of these athletes on top of their day to day.

With Agile methodologies and design thinking experience, our facilitator will create an engaging and provocative experience for the athletes.
